COPA - European Agricultural Union

COPA (European Farmers) first started out with 13 member organisations from the then six Member States. Today COPA (European Farmers) is made up of 60 organisations from the countries of the European Union and 36 partner organisations from other European countries.

The broad membership allows COPA to represent both the general and specific interest of farmers in the Member States and since its inception, it has been recognised by the Community authorities as the spokesman for the agricultural sector as a whole.

John Bryan was elected Vice-President of COPA on 07 April 2011.
